The making of a Teardrop trailer.

I cut my pattern to form a door.

Tested the new nutsert tool. I like it.

In the time I wasted with too short a bolt I could have gone to the hardware store and bought the right size with time to spare. The box will bolt up.

I think my tongue box shelf is going to work out fine. Welded half so I’d have a project for tomorrow. I need to cut off the V in the front.

Did a lot of cutting of metal today. Making a deck for the tongue box, just need to strip the paint and weld it up.

Don’t want to shorten the bed so it will stay square.

My plan for the hatch arc worked flawlessly. Laid out the bed and a rough idea of where the cabinets are going. The stock trailer tires are the small circle, 15 inch wheels are the large circle. Didn’t cut the bottom corner, still deciding if I want the few extra inch’s or the cooler look…

My new tubing bender did just what I expected it to do. I bent the hatch side rails. Seems I am doing the cart before the horse but I have a plan. It occurs to me it is easier to cut the wood to match rather than bend the hatch to match. Just thinking.

More cutting and grinding. Ordered a roller for bending the hatch, should roll in on Thursday.

Cut the fenders off with minimal carnage.
